Advanced training in physical theatre
Train with us in the Diploma course (2 mornings a week)
Are you looking to maintain a professional-level physical and technical training regime but can’t commit to the full programme? We’ve opened up our Diploma course so that you can train alongside our professional group two days a week.
Monthly or quarterly course from 5 October to 16 December
Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.45 am to 2.00 pm. (The studio remains open until 4 pm for practice)

What does this training consist of?
By joining this programme, you’ll be thrown straight into the daily training sessions with the diploma programme group. During these mornings, you’ll work under the guidance of the same teaching team as the diploma programme, focusing on:
- Physical preparation and availability: You will develop the strength, flexibility and stage presence required for stage work, at the same demanding pace as the regular group.
- Technique: You will explore the technical foundations of corporeal mime and physical theatre in depth: physical and spatial articulation, the use of body weight in dramatic action, and the study of dynamic rhythms.
- Improvisation and repertoire: You will be able to take part in improvisation sessions and the study of basic repertoire alongside the students in the regular group.
- Ongoing practice: You will draw inspiration from the energy, rigour and dynamism of an international group that is fully immersed in their professional development, sharing with them a space for technical growth.

Methodology
Moveo’s methodology offers a unique approach to physical theatre, striking a balance between high standards and a collaborative environment free from competition. We view teaching as an active form of support, where the group’s energy acts as a catalyst for individual discovery.
To achieve this, we foster a safe space for experimentation where making mistakes is an essential part of the learning process.
Through personalised feedback, active listening and collaboration, we ensure that each student’s development is a journey that is entirely their own, yet supported at all times by the strength of the group.
