Olivier Décriaud

Always inspired by literary texts, cinema and photography, Olivier has been a co-founding member and actor with Cia Moveo since 2005, and teaches at the Centro Moveo, Casa Elizalde and the Institut Français. A graduate in French Literature, he trained in physical theatre and mime with Ivan Bacchiochi and Robert Bennett in Paris, and with Steven Wasson and Corinne Soum at the International School of Corporeal Mime in London, from which he holds a diploma.

He was a member of the Théâtre de l’Ange Fou theatre company in London and has since worked on various projects and short films; as an actor and director, he has toured with productions in Croatia, Spain, France, Italy, England, Israel, Romania, Poland and Portugal. He has taught at various schools and organisations, and has collaborated with the Alliance Française in Port Said (Egypt), Glob’culture (France) and, in Barcelona, with El plató de cine, the Col·legi del Teatre de Barcelona and the Amalia centre.

He has appeared in several Moveo productions, including “Marelle”, “Réquiem” and “ARA!”, as well as in the Catalan company La Pell’s production of John Ford’s “Llàstima que sigui una puta”, directed by Anna Estrada. In recent years, Olivier has also specialised in teaching French through theatre, delivering classes and training courses for teachers.
